After 18 years at Emerson Automation Solutions, from test engineer to product manager to global IT portfolio manager, leading transformation across pharma, oil and gas, and manufacturing, I saw exactly where AI was heading and what enterprises and people would need to navigate it responsibly. I spent months in the quiet season, finding clarity, rebuilding confidence, and engineering the products I knew the world needed. Not talking about the work. Doing the work.

What I Lead
Product Strategy and Roadmaps
Product vision, roadmaps, PI objectives, and pricing and licensing models, from a machine learning product inside a control system to a global service portal.
Vendor Evaluation and Selection
Profiled two chemometric model engines, CAMO and Sartorius SIMCA-Q, and embedded the winner. Ran a three way evaluation of Oracle Fusion, ServiceMax, and an in house build. Managed Oracle as a strategic vendor.
Delivery in Waterfall and Agile
Shipped DeltaV releases from v10.3 through v14.3.1 under phase gated waterfall, then helped lead the move to agile: embedded in Emerson's first agile team, then product owner and portfolio leader on SAFe release trains.
Engineering Quality and Risk
A decade of system integration testing and risk evaluation, test strategy for flagship releases, functional safety assessments with exida, and ISO audit readiness.
People and Team Leadership
Led test engineers as test lead, owned the backlog for two scrum teams of 16 developers, and directed 8 to 9 development teams across India and the Philippines, plus business analysts and vendor partners.
AI and Governance
Machine learning in GxP manufacturing, an AI powered service portal, AI products shipped as a founder, and a 42 item AI readiness framework for regulated industries.

DeltaV Spectral PAT
Challenge
Pharma plants ran spectral analyzers, quality models, and the control system as separate layers, which were fragile and hard to validate.
What I did
As product owner and product manager, co designed the product with global pharma customers, profiled CAMO and Sartorius SIMCA-Q model engines and embedded the winner in a standard DeltaV function block, chose the architecture, and shaped perpetual and subscription licensing.
Outcome
Released in DeltaV v14.FP3, bringing machine learning quality predictions into a GxP control system. Won the 2022 Pharma Innovation Award, Quality category.

Service CX Portal: Build versus Buy
Challenge
Service tools were split across Oracle clouds, an in house mobile app, and low code apps, and Oracle was slow to deliver the field service upgrade we needed.
What I did
Ran a three way evaluation of Oracle Fusion, ServiceMax on the Salesforce platform, and an in house build. Chose to build because the ERP stayed the system of record, then owned the roadmap for an AI powered, API first portal.
Outcome
Depot repair live first in Singapore, built for 9 languages, with field service features following, replacing an end of support contact center platform.

Application Rationalization
Challenge
About 30 in house and third party service applications, many built separately by business units, with rising per user licensing costs.
What I did
Built the funding case, removed inactive users without losing data, and moved low code apps into one in house suite with single sign on and shared data.
Outcome
$700K a year in licensing savings in FY23.

Simulation for Life Sciences Validation
Challenge
A biopharma customer could not validate its plant I/O on a simulation system, putting a critical project at risk.
What I did
Brought the customer team and developers together, uncovered a hidden requirement, and validated the fix with soak tests on the customer's own system.
Outcome
The project stayed on schedule, validation moved off production systems, and the fix became the business case for a digital twin roadmap.

Control System Security
Challenge
Industrial control systems needed stronger protection on embedded devices, network protocols, and certificates.
What I did
As product owner for the controller team, delivered SNMP access restriction, DCOM hardening, and TLS 1.2 for database connections, and led the certificate management epic with a DeltaV certificate authority.
Outcome
Security hardening shipped in DeltaV v14.3.1 feature packs, alongside localized engineering tools in Russian and Japanese.

Software Capitalization for Agile
Challenge
Waterfall time reporting did not fit agile teams, yet Finance still needed defensible software capitalization.
What I did
In the Technology Leaders of Tomorrow program, my team mapped the FASB 86 criteria to SAFe and proposed tagging capitalizable features and costing them by release train capacity.
Outcome
A Finance ready approach with a planned trial, connecting agile delivery to audit ready reporting.
